Shanghai - The Most Dynamic Market in China

   Shanghai has a 100-year printing history. At present, a printing industry zone has been established in the Zha Bei District of Shanghai, which boasts 170 printing enterprises with an annual output of USD 78.3 million in 2000 and an average annual increase rate of 20%. The projected output in 2005 is to reach USD 192.8 million. That will make Shanghai the " Printing Giant" in China. Shanghai imports approximately USD 722.9 million printing equipment and materials annually. As the commercial and economic center of China, Shanghai is drawing remarkable attention from both domestic and foreign investors with its favorable geographic location and business environment.

   Shanghai Introduction
   Shanghai, also called in short in Chinese "Hu" or "Shen", situated at 31.14 degrees north latitude and 121.29 degrees east longitude, in the middle of China's east coastline, is a gate to the Yangtze River valley. It is the largest economic and trade center in the country and a comprehensive industrial base.
   Shanghai Port is the leading port in China. It is an open city along the coast, as well as a famous historical and cultural city. Its total area is 6,341 sq. km., of which the Pudong New Area occupies 523 sq. km.
   Shanghai is well known both at home and abroad not only for its prosperous metropolitan feature and rich humanistic resources but also for a number of tourist attractions with modern flavor that have been developed in recent years.

   Travel in Shanghai
   The Bund has been considered a historic symbol of Shanghai for over one hundred years.
   

   The Oriental Pearl TV Tower is as much a symbol in Shanghai as it is a spectacular structure.
   

   Yuyuan Garden is a representative of the classical architectural style and is acknowledged as an architectural miracle in the region southeast of the Yangtze River.
   

   The Shanghai Museum displays symbols and artifacts of Chinese culture and tradition.
   

   Nanjing Road Walking Street, known at home and abroad as the number-one business thoroughfare in China.
   

   Shanghai Xintiandi is located at Lane 181, Taicang Road, which combines history, culture, tourism, food and beverage, business, entertainment, and residences.
