Xunyue Software is a revolutionary information management tool in a new generation of printing and package industry. Xunyue Software R&D Team visited more than 1,000 printing and package enterprises from 2003 to 2006, and top 20 printing and package enterprises were invited as alliance units to set up the information management project of competitiveness enhancement in the printing industry. According to results of the survey, it can be found that ERP is constantly changed by many enterprises because the traditional modular and BOM – based ERP born in the industrial production period is more confirming to control needs of production-oriented manufacturing; while the printing and package industry belongs to the service-oriented manufacturing of personalized processing with no their own products, so personalized products and flexible production processes cannot meet demands of production-oriented manufacturing, such as focus on R&D forming, material specifications, standard assembly line operations and so on. Therefore, the traditional modular and bom – based ERP is not suitable for the printing and package industry. Therefore, an information technology tool confirming to control needs of the service-oriented manufacturing of personalized processing is urgently required to make printing and package enterprises to benefit from information management. Xunyue software printing and package ERP comes into being after 6 years of research and development. XyTech architecture of Xunyue software is a technology base for transparent sharing of data in the whole process and limitations from the traditional modular and bom – based ERP are broken, so that data acquisition is more convenient, the operation is extremely simple, the number of buttons is only 50% of that of traditional ERP, the decision-making level can get dynamics of jobs in various processes of the whole factory within a second, the implementation cycle is reduced from half a year or one year to 4-8 weeks as well as the success rate of ERP is as high as 95%. With the XyTech architecture technology, not only management and control of the traditional ERP can be inherited, but also the low success rate caused by complexity and inflexibility of the traditional ERP will be avoided. The information acquisition is convenient and flexible in the process after removing the module. Based on the “XyTech architecture” technology, three framework systems are developed to support the full - process functions of ERP, including Process Self - Adaption System, Intelligent Push System and Data Link System. So, the process is flexibly defined and data can be transmitted in a call-style manner in the established process by the promotion management, and finally the data are associated through the Data Link System to form a closed loop and thus achieve control.
