The ValueJet X-series are Mutoh's fourth generation ValueJet piezo drop-on-demand sign and display printers, developed for indoor and outdoor applications such as posters, banners, backlit signage, wall coverings, point of sale displays, fine art reproductions, vehicle graphics and stickers.  The X-series consists of four models: the single head VJ-1324X (54"), VJ-1624X (64") the dual head VJ-1638X (64") and the VJ-2638X (102").

Integrating Mutoh's Intelligent Interweaving (i²) and new DropMaster print automation technology, new printer cosmetics and professional RIP software, the printers can be loaded with Mutoh Eco Ultra or Universal Mild Solvent (UMS) inks to deliver sellable production speeds at 720 x 720 dpi up to 16.4 sqm/h (VJ-1324X), 20.5 sqm/h (VJ-1624X), 36 sqm/h (VJ-1638X) and 39 sqm/h (VJ-2638X), whether printing on vinyl or banner.

Two of the printers to be shown at the event are the ValueJet 1938TX and the 405GT. The ValueJet 1938TX direct-to-textile printer is a wide dual staggered head printer targeted at sampling of short run on demand and local digital production of garments, upholstery, fashion, swimwear and home textiles.

The ValueJet 405GT is a direct-to-garment printer, which prints directly on to dark coloured and light coloured garments. The printer has a maximum print area of 420 x 576 mm and can be equipped with interchangeable print plates for small, medium and large t-shirt sizes.
